Yahoo Personals covers the States and Canada. The site is easy to navigate and well thought out plus with over 6 million members and thousands joining daily, you're bound to find someone near you!

Lavalife is reputed to have 15 million members, making it one of the biggest around, and covers America, Canada and Australia. We've only given them 4 stars as on balance we think that the other sites such as Match, Yahoo and e-Harmony are just that little bit better. As you'd expect from such a well-established site, navigation was easy and the search tools excellent. We loved the choice of three categories; Dating, Relationship or Intimate, which allows you to chose what level of relationship you want to search for. Not only can you get in touch with other members via email and IM, but also video webcam, Lavalifephone and Lavalifemobile. They also organise events in the US and Canada, so you can get to meet other members whilst out having fun. We'd probably say that if you're Canada, you're going to get the highest proportion of suitable members.
