Top Tip No 1: If you're going for a 3 day trial, consider signing up on a Thursday evening, that way you get to do some searches, fire off a few winks/emails before the weekend, which is when dating sites are the busiest.

Top Tip No 2: Profiles which have photos are likely to be viewed six times more than those that don't have one. If you have a couple of photos of yourself uploaded onto your PC already, you'll be able put them on your profile straightaway. A lot of dating sites manually approve photos which can take up to 48 hours (normally they're approved within 12 hours though, so don't worry that you'll run out of time!).
